So you’ve been thinking about blogging, and your totally confused. Or you’ve been blogging for sometime and want to take your blog from side hustle to full-blown business. Your mind is probably filled with 1 million and one things to do and learn. Trust me, I’ve been there. It can be extremely overwhelming finding new resources and information to blogging.
The first instinct is to do some research on resources to get you started. You stumble upon some ebooks and workshops and ponder on whether or not you should invest in them. Is it worth the investment? Should I just go ahead and go for it? What do I really need out of these resources? Is this book actually valuable to my blog?

Amongst all this your goal is probably to gain traffic, learn how to automate your blog, use social media so on and so forth. It would be easy if there was just a one-step approach to getting all this done. We all want our blogs to be successful, create valuable content, and gain readership. If only it was just that easy to type a few words, publish them and by magic we get over 10,00 page views. However, that is not the case. You may be looking for a one-stop approach or formula that will guarantee success. I’m sorry to say that doesn’t exist.
By now you have probably logged onto Pinterest to find an unlimited amount of resources, and other blog posts, on how to start blogging, build your traffic, online presence- so on and so forth. You’ve probably seen the words like SEO and ROI and haven’t a clue what they mean. I know I didn’t have a clue what any of it meant.
As a new blogger, it’s really hard to sift through the valuable material amongst all the fluff content you find. Every blogger has probably written the same topics on blogging, so what makes these topics stand out is the value of the information. It’s even harder to find if it’s worth the penny to spend on an ebook or workshop.

So should you invest in blogging courses?
Absolutely, as long as you understand that by purchasing these resources they aren’t going to promise you overnight success. I also would say these resources are best for creative blog babes who want to turn your blog into a business, and even for bloggers who are just starting out.
I have curated for you the best of the best blogging resources to invest in to start blogging. These are resources I have personally purchased, and 100% believe have boosted my blog in one way or another. A word of advice when purchasing any blog resource, whether it be an ebook or workshop, decide how much money you are able to invest. Blogging resources can add up quickly, so I stress researching which ones would benefit you the most.
The following recommendations will give you insight and knowledge into the blogging universe. However, don’t just simply read them or take the courses and be done. Take notes, indulge in the information, and use that information in your blog business. These books and courses are not magic formulas for you to make money overnight, or grow your blog overnight.
Growing your blog and making money takes time and hard work. There is no guaranteed road to success unless you put in the time and make the effort. So I stress again to always revisit these resources and write down relevant information that would be useful to you and your blog business.

Who is this for?
This book is for anyone struggling with pageviews and traffic. I purchased this ebook back in October and implemented strategies based on this book. I saw an increase from 612 page views to over 1K in just one month. Like I said, there is no magic formula, but tools for you to use to start increasing traffic. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to boost their traffic and start seeing your stats rise. Chances are you’ve probably heard a little bit about affiliate marketing. Basically, affiliate marketing is one funnel in which bloggers can make passive income. It may seem fairly easy to do, but if you don’t strategize correctly it can be easy to not see a penny. You have to put in the work upfront, to earn the rewards later.
Written by the founder behind House of Brazen, this book gives you the strategy she used to make her first affiliate sale in 24 hours using Pinterest! I will be honest in saying I really don’t focus a whole lot of time on affiliate marketing like I should. However, this book is very cut to the chase and gives you the strategy used to make an affiliate sale from Pinterest.
Who is this for?
Anyone looking to start making money with affiliate income, using Pinterest. The book offers details on how to automate your pins and start seeing money from affiliate links.
If you guys have followed me since the beginning of time then you know how much I adore Helene from Heleneinbetween. She’s been in the blog business for a while now so I trust in her knowledge and what she has to say. Not only that but her success and following shows you how successful she is, and of course, it didn’t happen overnight with a magic formula. Helene recently published and launched her first ebook on creating a fool-proof strategy to using Instagram.
Instagram is a social media platform you either love or hate because of the ‘algorithm’ and the ‘follow/unfollow’ tactic that some people use. Regardless of your experience, Helene says that most of her traffic comes from Instagram and she harnesses Instagram to drive her blog business. This book is over 80+ pages that unlock how to properly use Instagram to gain genuine followers and engagement.
Who is this for?
I definitely recommend this to seasoned bloggers who’ve been in the Instagram game a little while. The only reason I say this is because as a new blogger, you are just starting out and sometimes we don’t always focus all our energy on every single social media platform. However, I will say this book is a very good investment to make especially if you plan on focusing your time on Instagram.
Okay, ya’ll I’m really happy that I stumbled upon this workshop. Of course, I found myself researching ways to implement affiliate marketing, the proper way, into my blog business. Luckily I found Michelle’s workshop ‘Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing’. It is a bigger investment, and you can make payments, so I made sure to research reviews. Of course, everyone has and is raving about this workshop, and for a very good reason.
This workshop breaks down affiliate marketing from the very basics to implementing it into your blog, disclosures you need to have, how to use them, strategies to promoting affiliate links, bonuses and so much more. It’s a very in depth and information workshop, so I advise taking lots of notes.
Who is this for?
Anyone who is interested in making a passive income! I will say that the platform is completely written, there aren’t any videos. This doesn’t bother me but I know some people may expect a video/lesson combination since it’s in teachable format. It’s old school and I actually enjoy having to read for once and take notes. It allows me to digest the information better.
I absolutely recommend a course on the legalities of blogging as a new blogger or experienced bloggers. Knowing the legal terms of blogging when it comes to privacy disclosures, affiliate disclosures, and copyrights to keep your blog legal. To be truthful I didn’t even think about how important it is to know how to blog legally until I found the course.
When I stubmled upon this course I knew I had to enroll because I did work for an attorneys office for over 2 years and figured I should probably know the legalities and rights behind owning my own blog. Especially if you want to turn your blog into a business I highly recommend knowing your rights and how to register as a business.
Created by Jackie from Jade and Oak, Blog and Be Legal is a workshop that teaches you everything from registering your blog as a business, setting up your blog business legally, and so much more.
Who is this for?
Every blogger in my opinion! This information is beneficial even if you decide not to turn your blog into a business. There are tools and resources for creating privacy policies, and disclosures.
Krista from Blog Beautifully is the queen of Pinterest in my opinion. Her workshop on Pageviews from Pinterest was the holy grail that helped me boost my Pinterest traffic. I’ve been noticing high conversions on my pins and learned how to create an optimized profile. I thought I had the Pinterest game down prior to this course but I was wrong.
After taking this course I used the resources and strategies that Krista offered and implemented them into my Pinterest Business Account. Before this I was purely getting traffic from Facebook, now my top source of traffic is Pinterest. So if you’re stuck on getting pageviews and seeing conversions, this course teaches you how to optimize your pins to see pageviews.
Who is this for?
Bloggers who are struggling with seeing Pinterest as a source of traffic. Anyone who needs information on the basics of optimizing a business account for Pinterest, and want to see pageviews increase.
Have you read or take any of these courses? Which ones are your favorite? Or, which resources do you think you would want to invest in?
